Monday

Kyler and Kierstyn had piano lessons at 9:00 up on the mountain. Somehow I managed to get 5 kids up, ready, and fed AND still get there on time....despite the boys not even getting up until 8:25! After piano we went to a fun playground called The Pumpkin Patch where the kids played for 2 1/2 hours(!) and we ate a picnic lunch. How old do you have to be before dressing alike isn't cool anymore? These kids ALL love to match their cousins! Speaking of dressing to match, it must be noted that when we got to the park the girls pulled out a backpack that I found out upon further inquiry contained not 1, not 2, but 3 changes of clothes--each! Yes, they changed clothes 3 times while we were at the park! Silly girls! (On another note, I wasn't exactly calling them silly when we got all the way to bottom of the mountain before they remembered that they had left their tennis shoes at the park.)

After the park I took all 5 kids grocery shopping with me. (McKenzie, I was getting all kinds of stares--I KNOW you can relate!)

We took Kyler to a school book discussion group at 5:30 and then the rest of the kids and I had a picnic supper in the back of the car. Kelly met us at school and after Kyler was finished we all went to the Chattanooga Lookouts game! Fun day.

Funny. Yes, these kids do love to dress alike. When I had Heath, Trevin and Kierstyn the other day somebody asked me... "Do all these belong to you?" Didn't know how to take it, but I was thinking of McKenzie and her 6.

Jen definitly is a super mom and super aunt! I am so glad my kids are getting to have so much fun. It is good for them to get to do things without having all the little ones around. Thank you again Jen!!! Surely they will out grow this matching stuff soon.
