Hawaii: Big Beach & Ahihi-Kina'u Natural Area Reserve (lava rocks)

BIG BEACH (& LITTLE BEACH)
We had the Jeep for the rest of the day so after the Road Rally we headed to Big Beach which wasn't far from our hotel. It is the largest undeveloped white sand beach on Maui. We hung out for awhile and then headed up and over the hill for a quick *peek* at the nude beach on the other side. (I couldn't be that close and not at least take a look.) :) Let's just say that that one *peek* was more than enough to last me a lifetime.

AHIHI-KINAU NATURAL AREA RESERVE
We drove on down past Big Beach into the coolest area....lava rocks EVERYWHERE!

On the way back to the hotel we had our first encounter with Steven Tyler. (More to come on that later.....)
