Hawaii: Maui Road Rally

We arrived in Maui late on Sunday night. We rode a van over to the hotel and attended a welcome reception in one of the ballrooms. We were pretty exhausted after traveling all day so we went to bed.

Monday morning we participated in a Road Rally. We were given a booklet with clues to 5 different locations on the island. We also had a "Mister Pineapplehead" and a Polaroid camera. Our mission was to take a picture at each location with our Mr. Pinepplehead and our group and then make a poster at the end of the rally.
We spent all morning discovering some of Maui's local areas/attractions: Paia Town, Hookipa Beach Park, Surfing Goat Dairy, the Ioa Needle Lookout, and Haliimaile General Store.

Hookipa Beach Park (one of the best windsurfing beaches on Maui)
Our teammates, Shawn & Joanna

Surfing Goat Dairy (where we saw goats & sampled goat cheese)

Iao Needle Lookout

Final Stop: Haliimaile General Store where we ate a delicious lunch
