Road Trip to Cali!

We decided last-minute to tag along with Kelly on a road trip to California....with stops in Hurricane, UT (to visit MK & family), a drive through Vegas & LA/Hollywood, & an afternoon at the Dallas Cowboys training camp.  We had such a super fun time that we didn't want to come home!

The kids enjoyed some time on the golf course in Hurricane and spending time with their cousins.  Kelly & I enjoyed a couple of early morning runs together.  Oh, and that dinner we had was FABULOUS!

Our drive to California took us right through Las Vegas so we showed the kids what Sin City looked like...in the daytime. :)

The kids really wanted to see the Hollywood sign so we drove up to the observatory.

The views of the city were pretty amazing from up there too.

Back in the city we parked the car and walked along Hollywood Blvd. to see the Walk of Fame.  And Kelly just so happened to find the Crossfit LA so he stopped in for a few minutes.

We drove by the LA temple too!

 Rodeo Drive

Super cool car we saw parked on the street.  Kyler could tell you all about it; I, however, don't know a thing about cars.

We took the scenic route from LA to Oxnard along Highway 1.  It was such a beautiful drive.
The kids had a blast playing in the (cold) ocean while Kelly and I sat on the beach bundled up. :)

They also spent a lot of time catching some sort of smallish sea creature (they called them sea armadillos).  Kierstyn and Kyler made a "home" for them.

We spent an afternoon at the Dallas Cowboys training camp.

The kids waited after practice for players autographs.  Some were so nice and signed a lot of things; others just ran off and wouldn't sign anything at all.

Everyone had a SUPER FUN time.  Can't wait til the next trip!
