While in Florence one of our excursions was a day trip to Pisa & Lucca. We boarded a charter bus and rode the 1 1/2 hrs. to visit these 2 beautiful cities.
The leaning tower of Pisa....was so cool! This was a very, very quick stop. We only had time to hop off the bus and walk around the outside (along with the thousands of other tourists) for about 20 minutes. I would have liked to have a little more time to go inside and learn some of the history.
Then we drove a short while to the town of Lucca. We had a bike tour which was so, so fun!
