...a very good place to start! On the way to Ft. Payne we made a stop at Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro. We love to shop here on our way to Chattanooga (a good half-way point) since you never know what kind of undiscovered treasures are waiting to be found. Kierstyn got an umbrella stroller for $2.50 (which she used to push her baby doll around in ALL week--on nature trails, through the woods, etc.) and the boys each got a book. Nothing else struck our fancy.
On to Ft. Payne....DID YOU KNOW?????
Next we ventured over to Dogtown and stopped in at Akins Furniture...apparently it is THE place to shop for furniture. There were people there from all over. It was just a HUGE furniture store...they had some really nice stuff for great prices. We just window-shopped as we don't really need any furniture (they weren't selling any log beds).
We stopped at Walmart for some last minute groceries (we brought most of it with us from home) and headed to the cabin. The kids enjoyed a football game with Dad.

I'm so glad y'all were able to do this and had fun!
Poor Trevin- or should I say... Poor y'all???
I was wondering what happened to your blog posting. I thought you got overwhelmed with life- I forgot about Fall Break. Glad you all are back. Hailey was excited when she saw your family picture. I expect a response to my e-mail about coming out here to run the marathon next year. :)
Poor Trev! Life is so tough when you're 4 with 2 older/bigger siblings. Well, life is just tough for our little Trevin! Good thing he is SO cute!! Huh?
