We didn't drive into DC (we're saving that for our next family vacation) but on our way around the city we saw the Washington DC temple. We were just driving down the Interstate and we came around a bend in the road and--BAM--there it is! It was amazing! We got off the exit and drove up to it to get a closer look.
The road leading to the temple was like a nature preserve area. It had a walking/biking trail and we saw a lot of deer.

I LOVE that temple! My parents were sealed there many, many, many years ago. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
