This is what happens when you think your oven is set to 225 degrees when it's actually on 500 degrees! Oops!
I picked out ALL the burnt pieces and salvaged what I could but now my house has a stinky burnt smell--yuck!

How sad ~ not only is it sad that your time and ingredients were burned but the stinky smell is the pits ~ voice of experience :>)
I was planning on making Chex mix this week too. Now I will be mindful of the settings on my oven.
hahahaha thats funny. When i first saw it i thought those were raisins in there.. i was thinking Whats Wrong With It?! haha
