Let the Celebrating begin....

We had the first of many Christmas celebrations last weekend. Here are all the kids....that's my cutie pie niece on Kierstyn's lap.Kierstyn played "Santa" and handed out all the presents. She made a list of all the presents beforehand and checked them off her list as she passed them out! Here she is showing CB one of her presents.Trevin got a music mixer...a really, really loud music mixer (THANKS A LOT!) which of course he loves. He also got a real tool set. He slept with that under his pillow and has carried it everywhere with him.See how happy that music mixer makes him! Kierstyn's present was in a BIG box!It was a standing easel. Just perfect for our little artist/schoolteacher! This is what she wrote on the chalkboard when they were playing school. She asked me, "Mom, what's that place on American Idol where they went and the kids didn't have any parents and you could send them money?" They were writing letters on the chalkboard to kids in Africa.

We cleaned out Kierstyn's room today (more on that tomorrow....) to make room for her new easel. I can see many hours of "playing school" in our future. :)

I didn't recognize CB. She has grown up so much. Those were fun pictures. And that note to Africa- love it! Fun times!!!

Fun gifts!! CB is so cute- I haven't seen her at all, I don't think. Her and Kierstyn could pass as sisters. Kierstyn is so organzied with the present giving and I am sure will be plenty busy. I am interested to hear about the room cleaning. I want to chuck all of the girls toys to make room for what's to come but I can't bring myself to doing it.
