Of course I knew it was too good to be true. I thought I'd only be without a functioning kitchen for a mere 3 days but alas, when it comes to remodeling, things can never be that easy, right? Our appliances were supposed to be delivered today but I got a call yesterday afternoon that the delivery truck was too full and they couldn't bring them til the next day (Wed.). That wouldn't have been so bad but since Kelly is going to be out of town Wed. & Thurs. I had to wait to schedule delivery until Friday when he'll be back. (They are supposed to deliver and unpack the appliances and we are supposed to inspect them before they leave to make sure everything is ok. I don't want to be responsible for doing that all by myself so a few more days without a kitchen seems like a small sacrifice to have the burden of inspection to be on Kelly instead of myself.) I'll just keep telling myself "It'll all be worth it in the end. It'll all be worth it in the end."

Sounds like you had a day with that negative man's laws...Murphy's law! :) You will be happy when it is all done! Hang in there! It's worth it...beautiful things always are! ;)
Try this one too:
I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.
Oh wait...that's already been done.
How about:
Deliveries should be made on time. Deliveries should be made on time.
Or even better:
If you're late, I get a discount. If you're late, I get a discount.
Sooo...pizza two nights in a row?
Hey Jen! It was really only a matter of time before I joined you all.:)So how did you get that counter thing on your page? I think that's kind of fun.
So I'm sorry about your kitchen woes. but I agree that you'll love it once all the bad stuff is over.
Hang in there and get creative! I am sure MM has some good tips for you.
Okay, so I am envious of the kitchen remodel. Although I like my bright kitchen compared to all the newer modern styles coming in, but that doesn't mean I still like it in others' houses!! Hang in there!! Like everyone else has said, it will all be worth it in the end!!
Now that I have caught up on the blog (Have I been gone that long from the blogging world as of late??), I must say that I love the hair. I actually ended up cutting my girls' hair on Monday. Skylah's curls are gone, and Ranoah and Skylah look a lot alike now, and yet very different still! Fun!!!
It took us several months to get our kitchen done, but we gutted to the walls. We got soooo sick of eating cereal!
