No, not another post about my little guy....this time I'm referring to my almost 10 year old (!). Kyler has always been a good kid. I mean, a really, really good kid. Yesterday he seemed to pride himself even more than usual on being helpful--he put everyone's clothes away (not just his own), emptied the dishwasher all by himself (which is usually a shared job), and other various tasks I can't seem to recall at the moment. It might have just been a ploy so that I would let him sleep with me (I love that he loves to sleep with me!) which of course I did. And then this morning when he got up he made my bed. :)

That is so unbelievably sweet! I love all your kids, but Kyler has always been an amazing boy. You must be doing something right! I am going to miss having him in scouts, tell him that he is not allowed to turn 10 until you move.
I can't believe he is almost 10!! What a great example he is to all his younger cousins.
I love it!!! He is a REALLY good kid!!! He is the oldest and the oldest grandchild. He is such a great example for everyone else. And I'm with Kenz, I can't believe he is almost 10! That makes me almost 28!!! YIKES!!!

Sounds like it was well worth l;etting him sleep with you to have a sweet boy like that! Carden can be very helpful, too... must be an oldest child thing!
That's our Kyler! I TOTALLY agree ~ he is ONE GREAT KID! The best! He can come sleep with me anytime!
