It all started with a "pancake cake" for breakfast. I had seen this somewhere and thought it was just too cute. Don't you love our "birthday plate"? Thanks, MM. I put the pancakes on the plate and stuck the candle in the top....the Fruit Loops around the bottom were a special addition by Kierstyn.
We had a crazy busy day---lots of meetings for Mom (and not so fun for the birthday boy) so Daddy was nice enough to play hooky for most of the day and he hung out with his little buddy. At 5:00 I stopped by Publix to pick up dinner (corn dogs!) and a birthday cake. It was soooooo yummy (the cake, not the corn dogs).
....and then of course, there was the "real" birthday party and more cake--cupcakes actually.
