My Mother's Day Weekend

It started early...on Thursday night I got a Girls Night Out--shopping and out to eat. On Friday Trevin had a tball game and then afterwards Kelly took all the kids to Chattanooga with him for a quick overnighter. (Kelly ran a 4-mile mountain race early Sat. morning with his uncle.) I had another Girls Night Out on Friday night to a baby shower. I could have slept in on Saturday but of course my "internal clock" woke me up at 5:45! Oh, well. I got to enjoy a little time to myself before my crew came back. My mom and my inlaws both came on Saturday to watch Trev's tball game and then we all went out for lunch.

Saturday afternoon, I took Kyler and my mom to see Nim's Island. I had told Kyler that if he read the book I'd take him on a "date" to the movie theater. The movie was good; the book was much better.
We came home and Kelly had Grandma's birthday dinner all ready for us!

Mother's Day Sunday....I was treated to breakfast in bed courtesy of Kyler and Kelly. I got sweet notes/cards from all my children and they sang 2 beautiful Mother's Day songs at church. I got the royal treatment all day....dinner was made for me when I got home. Thanks, Kelly, for making it a sweet, special, and relaxing day!
