4th of July Parade(s)

The whole reason we go to Iowa this time of year is for the 4th of July celebration. I grew up going to Iowa every summer and it's fun for me to see my kids getting to do the same things I did every year. They were in the Kiddie parade this year.

Here they are watching the Big Parade (note their bags in hand...for the candy)

Fun, this looks like a cute old town. Love the treehouse!

Do you get to play and climb in the treehouse?! So fun.

You want to take a break from your "to do" list and come hang out with me Friday night...it's my bday on Saturday you know...wink wink...hint hint.

So glad to see ya back in the blogging world. Nothing like a good old fashion parade. Trevin's facial expression are priceless. It's like he's growling at the camera in the last picture. That or the sun was in his eyes. Congrats on the move and good luck with your to-do list. I tried making one of those the other day, got really depressed, threw the list away, and took a 4 hour nap. HAHA! You have to be jealous of that! :)

Looks like they all had fun - I rode in a parade once on a horse that we painted red, white and blue - hmmm. wonder where those pictures are.... as for the book - the memory keepers daughter - let me know how you like it - i watched the "movie" recently on TV and bawled the whole time!
