Christmas in the 'Boro

We headed up to the 'Boro for a couple of Christmas celebrations last weekend. We started out at my mom's on Friday night. We had pizza and opened presents. Here are the kids with CB...

Saturday we had Christmas at the Merediths. We watched Luke 2 and then the kids acted out the Nativity.

Mary and JosephSweet, sweet MaryNo one wanted to be Joseph so guess who was nice enough to volunteer for the role...
This is my favorite picture of the whole weekend. Two of the cutest little shepherds you've ever seen!Although I'm kind of partial to this one...Our beautiful angelEnter the 3 Kings...The entire cast and crewI was lucky enough to get chosen as the Narrator. :) It was a fantastic production, if I do say so myself. Everyone was FABULOUS!!! (We sure missed the Jasperson girls though.)
After awhile the kids exchanged presents with their cousins. Kierstyn and Mia both got aprons! They were very excited and got right to work taking everyone's order. "Mama Mary, where are your cookbooks?"

What a fun, fun time. Kelly and I came home on Sunday and left the kids in M'boro for a couple of days. We've had a good time pretending to know what to do without our kiddos. They come home tonight and we are so excited to see them!!!
