It has been so cold here! Last Friday they even cancelled school just because it was cold. We've had snow flurries for several days but for whatever reason they just won't stick. OUR POND IS EVEN FROZEN!!!!! How crazy is that?! Yesterday after school the kids spent about an hour outside poking the frozen pond with sticks, breaking up chunks of ice and throwing it all over the pond. I'd like to say that I took a picture but I'm just a big baby and won't go outside when it's so cold. It's finally supposed to warm up today-yay! I mean, if it's not going to snow (and stick) then it might as well not be so cold.

Yeah- I've never known you to like the cold. :) It has been so cold! I'm ready for warmer weather.
Okay Jen -I'm sure you are aware that your Iowa family had to deal with -40 degree wind chill a couple of weeks ago? Not to mention, driving through Reinbeck is like driving through a bunch of snow tunnels right now. The snow is piled at least four feet high on the sides of the streets. That said, we would love some of your TN cold weather!

It got up to about 75 here today! Thanks for the info on those dates! I'm chompin at the bit for a view of those tennessee mountains in spring time! By that point it'll be in the 100's here and I can only handle so much of those temperatures. I'll get back to you with exact dates. Stay warm!
