That's My Girl!

What an exciting day in Kierstyn's life! My girl landed the lead role ("Elizabeth") in the 2nd grade play! She has been practicing for her audition all during Winter break. Today she found me at lunch and whispered to me that she thought she might get the lead. "No one else really said their part with emotion like I did," she tells me. :) Her teacher told me later, "You've got quite the little actress on your hands." Kierstyn's been waiting her whole life for me to let her be on stage and she finally gets to make her debut! Details of the day/time of her performance will be made available upon request. :)

And if that weren't exciting enough.......Kierstyn had her first "real" piano lesson today. (I was trying to teach her but decided that she would likely do much better for someone else.) She was super excited and did great!
