Last weekend

Last weekend was one of those too many things to do, too many people to see, not enough time to do it all kind of weekends. Friday night I went to Youth Conference with the youth from church at a camp in Alabama. Just before I left our friend Scott arrived to spend the weekend with us. Scott was a missionary when we lived in Americus, GA about 4 1/2 years ago. He lives in AZ but came back South for a visit. Kelly, Scott, and the kids went to the Chattanooga Lookouts game Friday night.

I came back early Saturday morning so that I wouldn't miss Opening Ceremonies for baseball. :) Poor Scott....we drug him from one family activity to another. He even helped Kelly finish the fort for the kids out back. Thank goodness he was such a good sport!
I totally missed this one. (These pictures are courtesy of Scott, by the way.) I guess Trev had his first mowing experience. This is after Trevin's baseball game. He had invited his friend, E, from school to come to his game. (She's the one that just moved here from Germany and speaks very little English.) She came with her family which was very exciting for Trevin. He whacked the ball both times he got up to bat and made a play at 1st while they were there. :)
My college roommate was also in town this weekend with her family. Unfortunately due to our crazy busy schedule we weren't able to hook up until after Trevin's game late Saturday afternoon. We met them downtown for dinner and a carousel ride.
Doesn't he look thrilled?!I don't know how I managed not to get a picture of me and Kim together but at least I got one of her G playing his new harmonica. We walked across the Market Street bridge and he sat down to play his heart out. A passerby even gave him $1!!!Some more goofy shots walking across the bridgeSunday afternoon piano practice
while the boys play the Wii!
As you can see, the kids (and me and Kelly, too) had a great time with Scott! He is so fun and so good with them! Actually, come to think of it, he is one of them (a kid-ha ha!). We can't wait to see him again when she stops by next week before going home to AZ.
