1. She is a wonderful "mommy".....she is sooooooo good with babies and little children. And it doesn't matter if they cry or fuss--she never gets tired of them. She will be an AMAZING babysitter!
2. She likes to make things and give them away. She is constantly making cards or pictures (or pillows) for someone.
3. She is s-m-a-r-t and she loves to read (just like me). :)
4. Her freckles!!!
5. She can do humanly impossible things with her body.
6. She is a great speller.
7. I think her first words were "Me can do it myself!" She has always been independent (which means I really haven't had to do much for her because she just does it herself). I guess in that way she has made my life easier.
8. She is not afraid to stand up for what is right and she is not shy about sharing the gospel. She gave her teacher a Book of Mormon on the first day of school this year.
9. I LOVE that wherever we go people always tell us that we look exactly alike.
I'm so lucky to have such an amazing daughter. We are very different personality-wise but she has taught me so much in her 9 years.
Happy Birthday, Kierstyn Read!

Happy Birthday from all the Carlson's! We miss you guys tons!
Wow! I had forgotten that our children are REALLY so close in age. Spencer turns 9 on the 20th of this month. I think Kyler and Jordan are really close....and if my memory serves me even remotely, Trevin and Kelsey are both 6 and in the 1st grade. Too bad you don't have someone to meet up with Cody! OH well.....my Kelsey is also Miss Independent. I sent her to school today for pictures dressed in what SHE wanted to wear, and having done her OWN hair since "I can do it now myself, mom!" came out wild and ferocious. So...1st grade pics will resemble her independent, strong willed nature. Gotta love being her mom...glad you have Kierstyn. Happy Birthday to her!
Happy Birthday sweet girl - I hope you have a great day! We miss your sweet smile and infectious laugh!
