Perspective

I love that whenever I get stressed out, I am reminded of my true calling through small and simple means....especially when they come in the form of sweet notes from one of my children.

Kierstyn typed this note yesterday and left it for me to find on the kitchen counter. (The bottom of the note refers to the rather rough couple of weeks I've been having at work.)

Dear Mom,
This week for lunch at school I want to eat on Wednesday. The meal will be a CORNDOG! Will you let me have it. Also I'm very very very very SORRY about my cavity.

I love you farther than the moon and back.
Your only Daughter,
KIERSTYN

P.S. I think you are a wonderful teacher but you are definentely a very very good MOM! About the teacher I'm sorry there are so many kids that you have to deal with.

I am so grateful for 3 wonderful children and an amazing husband.

I had to giggle at the 'only daughter' part because Savannah uses the same phrase.

Our branch is truly fortunate to have your family in it. Your children are such a wonderful example and influence on mine. It shows what loving righteous parents you both are. I wish we had more opportunities to get together. Your daughter is an amazing, stronge individual. I repeat myself when I say you have every right to be proud of her.

Amen! Reminded of the "joke" ~ what did the snail say while riding the turtle's back?. . . "Whee!" In your case ~ the apples don't fall far from the tree ~ one amazing woman/mom produces 3 amazingly wonderful children. LOVE you!!
