I'm thankful for...

my life right now. (**hoping I don't jinx myself!**)

I had a moment today, right in the middle of switching laundry from the washer into the dryer, of how grateful I am for this "season" of my life. I am truly thankful I can be home to do laundry all day, thankful that my husband works hard so that can really be a possibility. I am thankful for a husband who honors me and my calling as a wife and a mother. I am thankful that I have time to plan and prepare meals for my family. I am thankful I can go to the grocery store without kids in tow. :) I am thankful that I have time to exercise. I am thankful for the ages that my kids are right now.

Not that I haven't enjoyed the other "seasons" of my life so far (because I have), but admittedly there have been times in my life when I wished a certain stage, trial, etc. would pass so I could get on to the next one. You know, "I can't wait until...." I don't feel that right now in my life and I am grateful to be at that place.

I can't wait until I'm in your season. :) But, I have years to go and will be much older than you are in your season when I get to that season, if that makes sense. :)

I'm so happy you are so happy with your life. You have a wonderful life and I am glad I get to be a little part of it.

So happy for you, Jen. Truly. I am a little sad that my babies will soon be babies no more, but am looking forward to the next season as well. :) Glad to know it is such a happy place to be! :)

Awesome! It only gets better ~ if you can handle the physical aches and pains that come with it :>) Sweet blog.

I am enjoying your thankfuls, Jen. I also appreciate this post. I feel like I am in a new "place" as well and finding myself very grateful for it. One day I'll go grocery shopping by myself and enjoy that "place," too. A time and a season for everything . . . .

Sometimes I don't believe it. Ya know some things happen that make you feel like you may be in a never ending circle... although I am actually content too. But my laundry is not getting done and I take four kids to the store but what the heck!!
