Yesterday as Trev and I were preparing to do a little jumping on the trampoline (read: I was sweeping all the leaves off the trampoline so that we could jump and not seriously injure ourselves), I heard a rustling from behind the fence line. I looked over to see these 2 cows helping themselves to our fence line vegetation--crunch, munch, crunch, munch. Now this really is nothing new...the cows tend to help themselves quite often but I was rather surprised that they didn't back away when I got my camera out and proceeded to use them for my latest photo shoot. As you can see, Trevin actually got right up next to them and they still didn't back away. (I tried holding out some leafy branches to see if they would eat out of my hand but alas, they decided either I was too scary or they'd had their fill and they took a defiant step backwards.)
Trevin said, "That one is the Grandpa." When I asked him why he said, "because he has those gray whiskers on his face!" Duh, Mom!

That cow with whiskers is way ugly, but that first picture is fantastic!
We don't have cows, but a deer did run in front of my van the other night. (A possum did too, but I don't think that counts as unusual or exciting.)
I enjoy pictures of farm animals! These are fun...great subjects, could become a daily ritual!
That is awesome. We are totally going to miss the deer and cows eating the clover on the other side of our fence. Where do you live anyways???
By the way, our phone is broken and won't let us call out or get calls, so if you want to talk on the email line, just give me a jingle... milkbeads@gmail.com.
