Look!

We were in the kitchen this morning when Kyler suddenly exclaimed, "Look!" So of course we all looked out the window just in time to see 3 huge raccoons come out of the brush and climb up a tree in our back yard! I told Kyler to go get my camera and we all cautiously and quietly snuck out the back door to get a closer look. By the time we got out there, they had made it halfway up the tree. They seemed to take notice of us and even stopped to pose it seemed. You may have to look hard to see them in these pictures (hey, I can only zoom so far!) but their eyes are glowing....

Here, let me zoom in a little more... Raccoon #3 was too far up the tree to get a picture but you'd better believe that we're going to keep looking for these guys in the days to come! Our backyard is just a regular wildlife preserve....
