Behind this closed door a little girl is busily wrapping presents for her brothers. Not presents that she bought at a store, but things she found (things that were hers) that she wanted to give to them. I'm having a "pat yourself on the back" moment in that I think my kids "get it" this year. They "get it" that the fun of giving gifts isn't in the shopping trips to the store and spending lots of money but instead it's about giving someone you love something of your very own that you want to share with them. I can't divulge what she wrapped up (because I know you read my blog, Kyler, and I'm not giving away any secrets!) but I think everyone will be happy on Christmas morning---both the givers and the receivers. I already am!

That's so sweet!!! I love this idea. :) :) I want to know what they are getting!!
I believe Kierstyn "got it" long time ago in that she is a most giving little gal. She is always sharing her treasures with others. You need to not only pat yourself on the back but give yourself a full embrace ~ big bear hug. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus!! OXOXOXO
How fun! Adam and I were just talking last night about doing our own family gift exchange. Thanks for reminding me of what Christmas should be about.
How cute is this? Looks like your house is in full holiday swing!!
