We took a break from our overwhelming (at the moment) kitchen project to go to the Pinewood Derby last night. This is Kyler's 3rd PD and he has placed (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) every year! (I think we got lucky the first year and we've pretty much kept the design the same since then.) So how did he do this year???????
2nd PLACE!!! The N. Sandstrom car beat us out for the top spot (darn those engineering dads!). :) Here's a few pics from our evening....

Hey now!! We have an engineering dad over here!! You know how much endurance it took for Shawn to keep his nose out of it?!?! Just kidding!! I have a pic of Kyler's car that I think you would like. I will email it to you. Great job, Kyler!!
