What did I ever do to deserve this?

I have good kids. This I know. However, my Kyler (who has always been a really good kid) has recently been upgraded to AMAZINGLY AWESOME SUPER HELPER KID. For weeks now (probably a good two months at least) he has gone above and beyond time after time after time when it comes to helping me. He has done his chores--and his brother and sister's chores--without being asked (before I even get the chance to ask him!), made my bed for me, put away everyone's clothes, cleaned up his room (when he's not the one who made the mess), swept the kitchen floor, done the dishes....I could go on and on. Seriously. I can't even begin to tell you how happy it makes me to see how happy it makes him to do something nice for me. I told him he was going to make someone a very good husband someday. For now, I'm happy that he's my very good kid.

Oh, and this picture. This was Easter Sunday after church. We were wearing matching outfits and I wanted our picture taken together. We are standing up. On the floor--both of us. That is how big he is. Where is my little boy??????

Hey, H, that's a GREAT idea!! J, as I read your blog there was not one surprising act of service from K that I read, but it still brought tears of joy ~ he is the BEST. Oh, and J, you DO deserve him! You made him what he is :>)
