Celebrity Circus...Starring My Kids!

**DISCLAIMER!!!** This is one of those "you really had to be there" things. No one who reads this post (except my mom because she was here and witnessed it firsthand) will think this is funny. But trust me, it was soooooo hilarious that I just couldn't not document it.

The other night we watched some reality tv show with celebrities who are trying to learn how to be circus performers. It was not something we had ever seen before but the kids really liked it. The "celebrities" left on the show were 1-some girl whose name I can't even remember, 2-Antonio Sabato, Jr. (I recognized the name but I have no idea who he is) and 3-"Wee Man" (yes, that is his name....and yes, he is a Little Person).

The next morning my kids unearthed the Dress Up box from among the chaos that we are calling "the playroom" and decided that they were going to play Celebrity Circus. Enter Kierstyn with the fancy costume she wore the one year she took dance...when she was 3. I am not even kidding. She can still squeeze into that thing. And then of course she needed makeup. And (here's the scary part) she says, "Do we have any really strong string we can hang from the ceiling?" (for her to hang on while she does acrobatic tricks over the stairs). Ummmm, no!

Next I see Kyler who has somehow found a red silk blouse we used for a pirate costume when he was 4. He was wearing it open (bare-chested) and it actually made a pretty good circus outfit.

And now for Trevin....He is standing at the top of the stairs with a black Harry Potter cape on. Kierstyn said, "Trevin is WEE MAN!.....because he's so little!"

The "show" consisted to some very acrobatic flips over the couch by Kierstyn, some serious breakdancing moves by Trevin, and Kyler's own version of what we like to call dancing. These pictures don't even begin to do their show justice. (Man, it's times like these I wish we had a camcorder!)
