My life as a full-time stay-at-home mom is about to come to an end. Tomorrow I officially go back to work. Granted, it's only part-time and it's at a school but it seems like a big deal to me nonetheless. I feel like I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be.
We found out yesterday that they are moving the 5th graders to the Upper Campus (aka Middle School). It is 5th-8th grade. Kyler is super psyched. He thinks it's really cool to be at the big school. I'm excited for him but I don't think I'm ready to be the parent of a middle schooler...

Good luck!! What a big step for you and Kyler... probably mostly you for going to work and for Kyler growing up. I can't believe he'll be in middle school. Just seems like yesterday all we had was Kyler and no other grandchildren.

Yikes ~ OMG ~ Yikes! Is that the bldg. where I went to HS? Yes, MK, I am freaking out!!!! OK, I am breathing again ~ hope it is a positive experience for all. You are wonderful Jen to work so your children can go to a good school!!!!

I enjoyed getting caught up on your blog just now. Especially the one about the kids bugging the heck out of you. That makes me feel so much better about recent days I have had.
Great vacation, too. We need to take a Northern Alabama vacation soon over here.
