How can something that takes so long to get ready (filling up water balloons takes forever!) provide so much fun and then be over so quick?!

Water balloons are awesome, but not only are they time consuming, but leave your fingers sore!

What I would give for a good old fashion water balloon fight. Sounds like a nice way to beat the heat, and of course give your kids a way to take it out on each other WITHOUT driving you crazy. I'm back in AZ trying to stay cool and I gave swimming a shot yesterday. For some reason swimming in a pool that's 90 degrees feels more like I'm taking a shower than anything else.
