Fall Break....Fun times in the Big City of Atlanta

Here we go.....computer is back and I'm trying to figure out how to do my pictures in a whole new program (old one was lost). Supposedly my blurb book was recovered but I haven't been brave enough to try to open it for fear that it won't really be there. And if you're really interested, I've added pictures to my previous posts so scroll down.

Fall Break in Atlanta

We left Thursday and drove first to the Atlanta LDS Temple where me and my sweetie were married 12 1/2 years ago! We were amazed at all the new buildings around the temple. We enjoyed sitting outside on the benches with the kids and we even got to go in the waiting area at the front of the temple.
Then we found an adorable (and super yummy) authentic German restaurant where we stopped for lunch. On to Stone Mountain....where we spent a couple hours walking around. Very cool but not as cool as Mount Rushmore.

We stopped at The Cheesecake Factory for dinner/dessert. (Yes, we had dessert for dinner. We were on vacation. It's allowed.) We also took the kids down to the Olympic Park and walked around.

Friday morning we headed over to the Coca-Cola museum. What a fun time! I highly recommend it.

You get to sample 64 different soft drinks.....and sample them we did! :) I'm pretty sure this was the kids' favorite part (although the 4-D movie was pretty cool, too).

And I know I've said it before, but I just looooooooove it when all that fun does this to my kids!

That picture of the kids in front of stone mountain- at first glance I thought it was you and Kelly and Trevin. Wow I must be going crazy! I love all the pictures and all the fun. I need to start a list of things that we want to do.
