Neglectful

Yes, I've been a bit neglectful of the blog but I go back to work TOMORROW and we've been busy getting ready for school.....not to mention a sister-in-laws wedding last weekend. Excuses, excuses.

The school supplies are bought and I think my kids have enough clothes so that they can wear a different outfit each day of the week (although they will still try to wear the same 2-3 outfits over and over). The kids are spending the last week of summer vacation with grandma since I have to work this week. I am confident that they will squeeze enough bike riding, computer playing, sibling bickering, movie going, and cousin fun into this week to last them at least until Fall Break.

While they're away, I plan to paint the entire living room/entryway/upstairs hall area and FINISH the boys built-in bookshelves (with much help from Kelly) AND get started on my blog book for 2009. Oh, and did I already mention that I go back to work TOMORROW!? I figure if I only sleep 2 hours a night I might be able to accomplish half of what I have planned.

Soooooo....I'll be back on the blog but not until I get a few more of these things checked off my list. Happy End of Summer!

I officially go back tomorrow as well. I've been volunteering, though, at schedule pick-up this past week and today. Something I was going to have to take care of anyway when I got back to work, so I figured that I might as well get it done the way that I want it before then!

Hope your week is good, and the kids have fun, as well!

And YOU WILL probably get it all done, Super Woman. You make me laugh! Love you. Thank you for everything you did this wknd. Sorry we didn't get to visit more. Whew - I am still trying to catch up and I don't feel like I did that much. It was great, wonderful etc. etc. and it is OVER.

Don't be so modest. You know you will have all that done and still get a good 8 hours of sleep in. you are amazing!

Wow, that list of projects...but I have no doubt you will get it all done! It will be so fun to see the boys room finished. Good luck back to work, thinking of ya!

I just have to tell you you inspired me to do a book as well! We have it caught up to current status from the time I first started blogging in 2006. We are at 400 pages and still going (the max is 440). We plan on this being our family album from that point on as well. I am so excited to hold in my hands our first book! Thanks a bunch!
And have fun at school!!!
