Kierstyn borrowed our neighbor's snowboard. According to one mom who was watching, Kierstyn is "a natural." Anyone surprised?
If you look closely, Kierstyn's face is black and dirty. We woke up this morning singing Mary Poppins songs and played through all the song selections on the DVD. Trevin's favorite is "Step in Time" (chimneysweeps dancing on the roof). He and Kierstyn danced to it 3 times and Kierstyn (of course) was in full costume: black clothes, hat, soot-stained face, and broom in hand.
Trevin sledding A first for my kids....Snow Cream (they both ate it but weren't really crazy about it).
We had some neighbor kids over for brownies, hot chocolate, and more snow cream this afternoon. The roads are slushy but mostly clear and the snow is quite wet today (it rained a little overnight). I hear that power is out on the mountain and it's pretty icy up there. Wonder if church will be cancelled tomorrow....

Yes, let's cancel church!
Trev got a hair cut! :) It's cute. Of course Kierstyn is a natural. You are such a fun mom and do such fun things with your kids. I bet Kelly and Kyler are jealous ;)
I love the bit about Mary Poppins!! And she does look so comfortable on that board!!!
This answers my question - wondering how you guys are dealing with the snow? - handling it pretty well I see, loaded with LOTS of fun!! No church tomorrow for us. . . it was to be our ward conference . . . bitter sweet. Feel bad for the stake due to the fact they will need to make it up somehow. Love to K & T . . . Mary Poppins is one of my favorites. :>)
Must confess... so very jealous right now!
Snow cream? Now I will have to try that, yet I don't think NY snow would be the right choice?
It looks like you guys are having a lot of fun with all that snow!
