We've been hibernating in our house all week trying to keep warm. This cold snap is freezing our hineys off! The kids went back to school on Wed., came home early on Thurs., and were out on Friday due to snow. There wasn't much snow but as we all know even the mere mention of the "s"-word sends every Southerner to the grocery store to raid the shelves. And of course schools and towns pretty much shut down completely. That's ok. I don't think my kids were really ready to go back to school anyway. :)
We had company last night--Kelly's sis McKenzie brought her crew down for a wrestling tournament. Trev wrestled and kicked some serious you-know-what. He's starting to get this wrestling thing down. My nephews wrestled this morning and then we had a family get-together on Lookout Mtn.
I love snuggling on the couch with a good book and family get-togethers.....even if it is freezing outside.

Thankyouthankyouthankyou for making the pilgramage to the Mtn. Your presence is always appreciated and enjoyed. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves. Caroline had asked if we were going to eat outside. Ha! I agree with your observation about Trevin - he's got the wrestling gene!! Thanks too for opening your home to us long enough to destroy it and then leave. :>)
Our ids had 1 more day of school last week than you guys, but I wasn't ready either... now to get a better start on this week! and Gooooo Trevin!!!!!
Cold huh? Was it -17 degrees? That was the temp as Macy and I did our coupon shopping yesterday morning! We had been thinking about moving to TN to get warm weather until we saw that you guys had snow days this week too!
