SCHOOL'S OUT!

Reflections on the school year...

Kyler-I had four teachers: Ms. Orr (Math), Mrs. Brown (Language Arts), Mrs. Roden (Social Studies), and Mr. Neal (Science). Some of my best friends were Noah, Eryck, Haley, Raven, and Dameghene. We went to the Parthenon in Nashville. Our modules were: Ancient Civilizations, Energy and Electricity, the Universe, Weather, Greek gods, Shakespeare, and Ecology. I was in Chess club. I also took Technology Engineering, P.E., and German. I played soccer and ran cross country.

Kierstyn-My teacher was Mr. Wohl. My friends were Jadyn, Annie, Taylor, Alex, etc. Some of my favorite learning expeditions were when we went to the track meet, the Tellus museum, and Lula Lake. My math and spelling teacher was Mrs. Carroll. I learned a lot about rivers and I wrote a lot of stories, poems, diamantes, etc. I learned a lot of new math strategies and a lot of new words. This year I won the 3rd grade spelling bee, came in 2nd place in a 400 meter track meet race, came in 6th in the 400 meter relay race that I ran with Jadyn, Alex, and Chynna, and placed 3rd in the county for Cross Country. I love my teacher Mr. Wohl. I am excited to move on to 4th grade.

Trevin-My teacher I had in 1st grade was Mrs. Methvin. My friends are Gracie, Gabby, Sam, Katia, Zander, Luis, Jaidha, Breanna W., Olivia, Eliah, Morgan, Steven, and Zachary. My modules were America, the Human Body, the Rainforest, and Egypt. My favorite was America because we got to do a play and I was a surfer and a student. In the rainforest I learned about the caiman because we got to choose animals. And another thing for the rainforest is I got to be a botanist on a video we made. I enjoyed having the school year with my favorite teacher Mrs. Methvin. I can't wait til 2nd grade because I want to win the spelling bee and come in first place like my sister.

Just for fun: last year's reflections
