Scout Camp....HERE HE COMES!
He left at 5:30 this morning! I was a nice mom and took a picture of him at home before we left (and not at church in front of all the other boys).
"Are you excited?" I asked on the way to drop him off at the church.
"Yep! I did a happy dance in the bathroom," he answered. (He's gonna kill me for posting that.)
Am I really old enough to be sending my son away to Scout Camp?!

NO! You are NOT. . . and HE can't be old enough to go to Scout camp for a week. . . YIKES!!! HOW, WHEN, WHERE, WHY has this happened??? What a handsome man-child you have. I do hope it is a great experience for him. I KNOW he will be greatly missed! He will be the best thing that ever happened to scout camp :>)
Wow! What a big thing for him . . . and you! I bet he has a great time--all thanks to the happy dance. ;)
I feel your pain. I just sent both of my boys off on their High Adventure for the week... a 50 mile canoe trip. I looked at both of them this morning and couldn't help but wonder the same thing as you.
I'm sure that he will have a great week, and come home with lots of fun stories to tell!
yep, I feel your pain. I really have a hard time letting mine go too... shooooot... I'm so bad I had a hard time leaving the ballpark this morning when dropping off Ty for Baseball camp, and its only a day camp, the boy is coming home at 4pm, and yet I drove ever so slowly leaving, NO LIKEY!
So fun! I hope he has a fun time and is continuing to do a happy dance when he gets home.
watch out...the day blake turned 12life went in fast lane and is still flying!!!
